Dear District 26,
I promised that I would fight for public retirees, stronger public schools, safe communities, and healthy families. I went into the 2026 legislative session and did just that.
I introduced bills to improve infrastructure and public safety, to create a registry for repeat domestic violence offenders, to fight blight, to improve health outcomes for our moms and babies, and to provide healthcare to students in our schools.
The first part of the 2026 legislative session was dominated by "school choice." I voted against voucher proposals and transfers that would take resources away from our public schools. I voted in favor of the teacher pay raise - and I will continue to push for competitive pay for teachers.
My focus will always be to improve the quality of life of our citizens and to fight policies that will take us in the wrong direction.
I want to thank the people of District 26 for your continued support. It is a privilege and an honor to serve you, and I will work hard every day to represent you well.
I am seeking re-election in 2027 and would appreciate your prayers and support.
